Is the Festival happening?

  • YES!!!! Despite the rumors, the festival is still ON. 

 

Is the ticket I purchased still valid?

  • YES! All ticket purchases are valid and will be honored.

 

Is the venue changing?

 

Will my accommodations change?

  • No. All booked accommodations will be honored. 

 

I am a vendor, will the name change impact my agreement?

  • Existing agreements are valid and will be honored per contract. Addendum will be provided reflecting the new festival name. Please contact us for more information. 

 

I am a volunteer, will the new developments affect my expectations as a volunteer?

  • We appreciate your help in making this event possible. Your role is key, your ticket and accommodations will be honored for your commitment to us. Please contact us for more information.

 

I am a Facilitator or Performer, will the new developments affect my expectations or the agreement in place?

We appreciate your participation in making the experience of this event like no other. Existing agreements are valid and will be honored. Addendum will be provided reflecting the new festival name. Please contact us for more information.

TICKETING

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

Refunds are not available. Transfers available, email us  for assistance. 

Can I resell or transfer my ticket?

Are there any one day passes?

No, but you may leave before the Festival is over if you choose to stay for less time.  There is no re-entry if you do leave.

What are the accommodations? Do you have lodging? 

Know Other Festival is a campout festival - bring your sense of adventure! To rent camping gear, please connect with our partner Kit Lender here.

 

We are thrilled  to announce that our new home offers RV hookups, cottages, cabin, lodges and yurts .

*Please note: A vehicle pass is required to bring a vehicle onsite.

What amenities are provided onsite?

Our new home is an elevated wellness retreat with many modern amenities we can't wait for you to explore. Basic amenities include:

  • Drinking water

  • Sinks and handwashing stations

  • Bathrooms, (flushable toilets this year)

  • Hot water showers!

ACCESSIBILITY

What are your access options?

We have a mobility cart, ASL & PTASL interpreters. Our ticket system will prompt you to list your access needs; following that, our Accessibility Manager will reach out to you. Feel free to reach out to them via  email here.

 Do you have ASL Interpreters?

Yes, we have a fabulous team of interpreters! Your ticket registration will prompt you to

mention if you need ASL access. If so, our ASL Coordinator will reach out to you. Feel free to reach out to them directly email here.

Can I  bring my service animal?

Animals are not allowed on site, as we are in the forest, and can attract unwanted critters. However, if a service animal is required for accessibility needs, please reach out to email here.

 

PLANNING FOR THE FEST

Where is the venue located?

  • Mandala Springs Wellness Retreat Center, Cobb CA.

Can I camp near my friends?

  • Multiple cars wishing to camp in sites next to each other must arrive at the same time. Please plan on meeting up prior to driving into camping, together. This applies to all camping types (including tent camping).
     

  • If you don’t check-in together, you likely won’t be able to camp next to each other. There is no saving spots.
     

  • It's essential your entire group drives into the check in area together to guarantee placement together.
     

  • Camping staff will try their best to accommodate directing your group to an appropriate location. Let them know how many cars (or tents) are part of your group.

Why can't I bring meat products to Sum Of Us Festival?

  • Meat and other animal products contribute significantly to the climate crisis. Our core principle of nature is a part of you compels us to minimize our impact to our environment and this is deeply aligned with the Mandala Springs policy of operating a meat free venue.

What are the closest major airports?

  • Sacramento International 

  • Oakland International Airport

  • San Francisco International Airport 
     

When can I arrive? 

  • Gates will be open on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 11 am to 6 pm PST. Do not arrive past 6 pm PST. 

  • Festivities conclude on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Everyone must exit the premises by 4 pm PST.

Is there ice available for purchase?

  •  Yes, the Mandala Springs store will have ice for purchase. You are welcome to bring an ice chest or cooler and refill it with ice for food storage.

Can I bring a grill?

  • No open flame grills or stoves, yet you are allowed to bring portable stoves that do not have open flames. Here is an example of a griddle that is approved.

Is there firewood on site?

  • Yes, firewood will be provided by Mandala Springs. 

Is there wifi service on site?

  • There is no wifi or cell service. Use this time to unplug, relax, and connect with your community.

Can I leave the festival and return later? 

  • There are no festival "ins and outs"- if you leave, you will not be allowed to re-enter.

Can I bring my kids?

  • Know Other Festival is 21+ and contains adult programming.

Is it better to go with a group or fly solo?

  • Whether coming with a group or rolling solo, you will find community at Know Other Festival. Our workshops and activities prompt conversation and connection. 

  • Previous fest goers unanimously say that the environment is friendly and safe. It is easy to make friends and connect with other attendees.

  • Know Other Festival is a great place to bring a group to reconnect and explore wellness together. 

know before you go

Do I need to download my digital ticket?

Please make sure you download your tickets and accommodations prior to arrival to avoid issues with cell reception. 

 

Will ice be available on site?

Yes, ice is available to purchase at the main office from 8am to 7pm. For $5 a bag. 

 

Are the produce from the garden available to harvest? 

No, please respect the garden gifts. At this moment the fruits from the garden are not available for harvest. 

 

Do I need to bring bedding?

It depends on the accommodations you booked!

 

  • Yurts will have bed linens and pillows, please bring your own towels and warmer blanket if needed. 

  • Cabins will have bedding and pillows, please bring your own towels and warmer blankets if needed.

  • Cottages will have their own towels, bed linens and pillows as well as light blankets. 

 

Are there any areas of the property that are off limits?

Restricted areas will be clearly marked. Please note and respect the signage and the areas that are off limits/restricted.

REFUND pOLICY fOR KNOW OTHER FESTIVAL

Thank you for purchasing tickets to the Know Other  Festival. Please review our refund policy below:

 

1. Refunds: All ticket purchases are final, and we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

 

2. Ticket Transfers: Attendees have the option to transfer their tickets to another individual if they are unable to attend the festival. Ticket transfers must be arranged directly between the original ticket holder and the new attendee. Know Other Festival  is not responsible for facilitating ticket transfers.

 

3. Ticket Reselling: Attendees are permitted to resell their tickets at face value or less if they are unable to attend the festival.

Know Other Festival does not endorse or facilitate ticket resale, and we are not responsible for any transactions made between individuals.

 

4. Transfer Deadline: Ticket transfers must be completed before the start of the festival. Once the festival has commenced, tickets cannot be transferred to another individual.

 

5. Fraudulent Activity: Any attempts to fraudulently obtain refunds or engage in unauthorized ticket transfers will result in immediate cancellation of tickets and potential legal action.

 

By purchasing tickets to the Know Other Festival, you agree to abide by the terms outlined in this refund policy.
